Escarilla is a town in Huesca that belongs to the municipality of Sallent de Gállego, in the Alto Gállego region. In the heart of the Aragonese Pyrenees and bathed in the waters of the Escarra River, the town of Escarrilla is considered one of the most beautiful enclaves of the Tena Valley.
The old town of the town preserves the traditional folk architecture of the high mountains, in the form of stone houses and slate roofs that show a French influence. Two interesting constructions are the baroque parish church of the Virgen del Costechal and the old stone bridge (19th century) that spans the Gállego river ravine on the road that leads to Panticosa.
Escarrilla is an ideal place for the practice of adventure sports.
You have the SKI BUS stop 50 meters away to go directly, without stops, to both nearby SKI stations of the Aramón group, Formigal and Panticosa, so you can choose.
The line bus stop to Huesca is also 50m away, so it is feasible to get there by public transport (few places in the valley offer this possibility).
Ample parking areas around the house, you will park without problems, without discomfort, in a flat area (important on snowy and icy days).
You can walk to do the shopping, restaurants, butcher, bakery, etc. even rent skis.

We had a great stay in Los Ibones. The apartment is spacious and very well equipped. It has three bathrooms which is a real advantage for a large group as we were. We got all the information in advance, and everything was as promised. Quiet and comfortable location.
